When I started out getting involved with blogging and online income, often times I would have sudden inspiration in the most unsuitable situations. Usually I said to myself somthing like “this idea is great, you better remember when you’re back home”. Guess what, no matter how great the idea was, in a lot of cases I would have forgotten about it moments later. This is what this post is about!
I’d recommend writing all your ideas down, ever! Even the crappy ones? Yes, every idea you come up with!
And here’s why:
Nobody (or at least very few people) started a project with a perfectly planned concept in their minds. If you come up with an idea and don’t know how to use it just write it down and look it up later. This way you might end up having a huge fundus full of more or less useful ideas. But even if some of them aren’t that good in particular: Ideas lead to new ideas and so on.
Of course you have to organize your collection to some degree. You might want to categorize them or list them in alphabetical order and even add cross references if it’s a really huge number. A good way to increase creativity is also to structurize similar ideas in mind maps or clusters.
Think about it: The more ideas you come up with, the higher the chances of discovering profitable opportunities!
